H2B Update - Only 3 Weeks Left!

08 31st, 2008 by admin

Hey H2B Team,

WOW! The ride is approaching fast and we’re entering the final three weeks! Log on to the H2B website to check out our latest totals, because you are on track to make this the most successful year yet for our beneficiaries!

Remember, 100% of every dollar you raise goes directly to benefit our friends and family living with HIV and AIDS!

This email has information about:

  • Ride + Fly with jetBlue!
  • The Ride Day Agenda
  • Ride Out at the Trinity Church and Sagamore
  • RSVP for Brunch on Sunday!
  • Parking at Northeastern University

 Ride + Fly with jetBlue!
H2B is thrilled to have jetBlue as our “Ride Lead Sponsor” for 2008 because they’ve donated dozens of flight vouchers for the first 30 participants who raise over $3,000! If you want to see how close you are to winning a ticket, log into your personal site at www.harbortothebay.org and your current fundraising total is listed at the top of the page. If you’ve passed the $3,000 mark, great job! You’ll see your name on the Home page, listed under the Ride + Fly jetBlue Winners.

Remember, anyone can win a ticket, both crew and riders! So, get out there and talk up your contributions to the ride! What other event donates 100% to charity and is 100% volunteer!?

Ride Out at the Trinity Church and Sagamore Rotary
Hey Crew and Riders, remember we’re departing from the Trinity Church in Copley Square at 6am for the Boston Ride Out! Be there no later than 5AM sharp! Come early if you want to check-in and enjoy breakfast and witness the opening ceremony.  And, yes, we’re making the Opening Ceremony super efficient so you can hit the roads! :)

And if you’re riding from Sagamore to PTown, be sure to be at the Sagamore by 9AM because we are gone at 10AM!

And, if you’re curious about the pit stops, learn more at the Pit Stop Summary link. And, yes, we’ll have “porta potties” again! :)

RSVP for Brunch on Sunday!
One of the best treats in PTown is a celebratory brunch hosted at Bayside Betsy’s! Steve, Betsy, and the Bayside Team are thrilled to cheer your accomplishments by offering a hearty brunch on Sunday morning. But, because there will be over 500 of us we need you to reserve your ideal time for brunch! Log in today, and choose the time for you and a guest to dine in style!

Parking at Northeastern University
Hey, are you driving in to Boston, for the Ride Out on Saturday, September 20th? If you want free parking, our friends at Healy and Johnson Law in Holliston, MA have hooked us up with parking at the Renaissance Garage on Columbus Ave, at Northeastern University. Download the Parking Pass here!

Here’s a map to the garage.

More details are coming out by the hour! So, check the H2B website often, and be sure to log into the blog! And, as always, we welcome your questions, so email me or ask your Crew Rep or Rider Rep!
