Only 74 Rider Spaces are Left!
If you’ve got friends and family who want to ride, but are dragging their heels about signing up, tell them there are only a few spaces left! And, since there are only four (4) weeks before we hit the roads, those last few spaces are going to disappear very quickly! So, push your friends and family to sign up today!
And, a note for our crew! We can never have too many crew – the more the merrier! So, have them sign up too, so we can place everyone in the ideal spots.
YAY for Rider jerseys!
A gracious anonymous donor has donated 300 rider jerseys!!!
They really wanted to make sure that everyone who rides has the right jersey, to ensure we can remember this inspiring event. And, as anyone who has priced a rider jersey has found, that’s no cheap donation!
Thank you, lovely anonymous donors!!!
Check out the H2B Blog
H2B has it’s very own blog, and it’s got all of our latest info and details! So, log on and check it out! Soon, the agenda for Sept 12th will be posted, and there are lots of FAQs to check out too. ComputerSimple, our web geniuses, wanted to give you quick information without a ton of spam… ![]()
Learn about our Positive Pedalers
H2B is thrilled to have the full support of the Positive Pedalers again for 2009! The Positive Pedalers are a group of people living with HIV and AIDS committed to eliminating the stigma of disease through their public example. We welcome all of our friends and family who are living with HIV and AIDS to join this inspiring group of riders. They remind us all about why we’re committing so much of our hearts and minds to making H2B a huge success, and making HIV history!
Starting Points and Logistics:
We are very close to releasing the “Day of the Ride Agenda” on the H2B site. But, here are a few highlights to keep in mind:
There are three choices of rides for 2009:
- Boston to PTown
- Sagamore to Ptown
- Boston to Sagamore
Rider Details:
- Riders departing Boston will leave from Copley Square and the Trinity Church!
- You are required to watch the safety video and sign in, before 9/12! You can watch the safety video online!
- You are responsible for picking up your luggage, gear, and bike by 7PM on Saturday 9/12.
- H2B will not offer transportation back from Ptown to Boston, and we cannot transport your luggage or bike, due to liability reasons.
We hope you’ll stay the night in PTown! There are lots of great places offering discounted lodging, including The Cape Inn! The Cape Inn is a great choice and a huge supporter of the Ride! Then, join us for brunch on Sunday morning, at Bayside Betsy’s and then take your time getting home. And, don’t forget about the best transportation option, Boston Harbor Cruises! $25 bucks, 90 minutes, and voila, you’re back in Boston!!
If you’re planning on heading home on Saturday night, after the ride, Boston Harbor Cruises has an 8:30PM boat, and they’ve given us a wonderful discount. Call BHC today because the discount is only available using the call-in center (not online)!
So, get out there and get people excited! We’re on track to have our most successful year yet, and we need your help to make it happen! Sign up your friends to join, or just to make a small donation.
Remember that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to charity, and makes the lives of our friends and family living with HIV that much brighter.
See you soon!
Regards,
Eric Santamaria
