Important Logistical Details for the 2009 H2B Ride
Hey Crew and Riders!
We have a few logistical details we wanted to provide you, so you can plan for a smooth, efficient, and fun ride! Please check out the following, and reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
No Bike Drop Off for 2009, but Luggage is OK:
Riders: Because of our substantial growth over the last few years, we are unable to safely store all 300+ of your bicycles for the night before the ride. Please plan on bringing your bike on Saturday, September 12th. We’d love to continue storing the bikes for the night before, but we also know that your bikes are safest with you, their loving parents!
Good news is that luggage will still be welcomed the night before the ride! So, we’ll take care of getting your gear to PTown.
Please plan on the following, and more details will come out soon:
- Watch the Safety Video online today, and contact your Rider Rep with any questions about safety!
- Join us for Training Rides, to be sure you’re ready
- Keep the evening of Friday, September 11th open, so you can drop by Rider Registration. You can come by and leave your luggage, pick up your Rider Jersey and numbers, and ask any last-minute questions.
- Show up with your bike on Saturday, September 12th, ready for a wonderful day!
If the above won’t work for your needs, please reach out to your Rider Rep, or me, and we’ll find a way to make sure you have a glorious ride!
Travelers: Check out the Great Deal at the Marriott Copley!
Hey you H2B’ers that are coming in from out of Boston! The Marriott in Copley Square is totally hooking you up with an amazing deal! $149 a night for H2B participants, but there’s a limited number of rooms.
Check out the details on our blog, and make your reservation today!

Ride Out at the Trinity Church and Sagamore Rotary:
Hey Crew and Riders, remember we’re departing from the Trinity Church in Copley Square at 6am for the Boston Ride Out! Plan to be there no later than 5AM sharp! Come early if you want to check-in and enjoy breakfast and witness the opening ceremony. And, yes, we’re making the Opening Ceremony super efficient so you can hit the roads!
And if you’re riding from Sagamore to PTown, be sure to be at the Sagamore by 9AM because we are gone at 10AM!
And, if you’re curious about the route, check out our new digital version (thanks to Joe Richard!!) And, yes, we’ll have “porta potties” again! ![]()
As we approach Ride Day, more details are coming out by the hour! So, check the H2B website often, and be sure to log into the blog! And, as always, we welcome your questions, so contact your Crew Rep or Rider Rep!
Thanks!
